I didn't smell anything out of the ordinary and I didn't hear any weird noises coming from the trans. The transmission rebuild was completed they took it for a test drive and transmission blew up! 9 motor with an Automatic trans. 10 Mopar 10 Challenger R/T, #483/500, 5. Then i tried reverse same outcome, then engine loaded but wouldnt move. That did not bother me much since I didn't use overdrive much, but today my transmission does not seem to engage in any gear.

I pulled out of the gas station yesterday and heard a couple of clicking noises then the car went into neutral. I would suggest removing the front and rear drive shafts and with the transmission in neutral attempt to turn one of the outputs to see if it is free to turn and if turning it results in turning the other output. 2011 Ram 1500 5.7L won't go into gear. If the gearbox is in hi and low at the same time it will not turn and if enough torque is thrown into the box something will break. If the outputs are seized remove the transfer case and try to turn the input and all the outputs and if it is seized when removed refer to the instructions that came with the gear box to see if there is some adjustment necessary for installation.
